Old paper-mâché bowl from India 

This old handmade paper-mâché bowl comes from the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. The old "grain container" was used for a long time and has a beautiful patina. The papier-mâché bowls look like clay pots, but were made from papier-mâché. This material is particularly popular in Rajasthan due to its strength and light weight.
