Traditional wooden pots from North of India. These wooden pots were traditionally used in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Due to their proximity to the Nepalese border, they are often referred to as Nepal pots.
In earlier days, still today in few places of India, uses wooden pots to store foods. Depending upon the size and shape of these wooden pots, they are used to store milk, curd, ghee and other food items. Now a days, wooden pots are replaced by metal, ceramic or plastic items. The old wooden vase is handmade. The wooden pot is many decades old and signs of age and use. Unique item!
