Colorful thick handwoven wool blanket from Peru 

 Beautiful vintage frazada blanket from the Andes. This blanket was woven and sewn by hand decades ago using traditional methods. The patterns are passed down from generation to generation within the family. The wool for the very colorful blankets comes from the sheep living in the Andes. After spinning, the wool fibers are dyed with natural dyes.
Frazada blankets are traditionally used as blankets or throws. However, they are also suitable as rugs or wall hangings. Each of these blankets is old and unique. They may have small irregularities and discolorations.
