Rustic antique wooden stable bench with green legs. The decorative antique wooden bench is handcrafted and exudes a great charm. Lots of signs of use such as discoloration, nicks, cracks or former wormholes contribute to the wonderful patina of the old wooden bench. We gave the old bench to the carpenter again - it is stable. Ideal as a storage surface in a hallway, bedroom or bathroom. A unique piece.
These wooden benches were often used in barns and stables. If used for long periods in heated rooms, the legs may occasionally become loose. However, these can be very easily fixed again with small wooden wedges - a technique that farmers also used for the benches.
