Old dough trough made of light-colored wood 

These former, hand-carved dough bowls are rugged beauties. As the name suggests, such bowls were used in the past to make dough. They are often also called “dough troughs” or“dough tubs”. Sometimes the large wooden troughs were also used to store other food or as a wash basin in the garden. The container was hewn from a single piece of tree trunk. The marks of the tools are still partially visible. The wooden trough is old and has signs of wear. One-of-a-kind piece.
