The old wooden bush cow mask comes from Nigeria. It was handmade decades ago by the Mama, a small ethnic group living in the highlands of northern Nigeria. The surface of the old buffalo mask was colored with red pigments. This old Mama mask was in use for many years and has traces of use. It still smells of the smoke of the hut fire and one horn is slightly damaged.
